Delete Your Parent App Account

How to delete your Saint Paul's School Bathinda app account, and what happens to your information.

App: Saint Paul's School Bathinda on Google Play (com.saintpaulsbathinda.parents)
Developer: Eishan Lawrence, for Saint Paul's High School, Bathinda
Last updated: 3 November 2026

How to delete your account

Signing out of the app does not delete your account. There are three ways to delete it:

  1. In the app: open the Account tab and tap “Delete my app account”. It works at once.
  2. In person: visit the school office (Adarsh Nagar, Street No. 9, Goniana Road, Bathinda 151003, Punjab) during office hours and ask for an “app account deletion”. The office will check that you are the parent or guardian on record before deleting.
  3. By email: write to admin@saintpaulsbathinda.com from the email address the school has for you. Include your name, your ward's name and class, and your parent code (shown on the Account tab). Do not send your sign-up slip or any sign-in code. If the school has no email address for you, the office will call you on the mobile number it has on record to confirm.

Deleting your account also withdraws your consent for the app.

What is deleted

At once with the button, or when the school completes your office or email request:

  • your app account, and sign-in on every phone (all your phones are signed out);
  • your push notification registrations, so you get no more notifications;
  • the marks showing which messages you have read;
  • your access to your wards' attendance and notices in the app.

We do not reach into your other phones, but they can no longer load anything.

What the school keeps, and for how long

Deleting your app account does not delete the school's records of your ward (name, class, attendance, your details as guardian) or the paper files the office holds. The school keeps your ward's admission record as the law requires.

WhatHow longWhy
Your ward's school record: name, class, admission details, guardian contactWhile your ward is enrolled, then 7 years after your ward leaves, then erased from the system. The paper admission register stays the school's permanent record.The school needs it to run the school and reach you. It is not part of the app account.
AttendanceThe current and previous school year in the system. Older years are kept with the school record (7 years after your ward leaves).School records.

Security, audit and notification-delivery logs (IDs and status only, no message content)1 year, then erased.Security.
School notices, circulars and attachmentsThe current and previous school year, then deleted.School documents, not your personal data.
BackupsMade daily and deleted after 60 days, so your deleted data is gone from backups within 60 days.Disaster recovery. Backups are not edited one by one.

What happens next

  • With the button, it is done at once.
  • For an office or email request, the school confirms it in writing and completes it within 30 days.
  • Records kept for the periods above are erased when each period ends.
  • To use the app again, visit the school office for a new sign-up slip. This can take a few days.
